Huawei, the third largest smartphone brand in world unveiled two new devices under its online only exclusive brand name “Honor” or let’s say under the Honor series. Honor Holly and Honor X1 will go online for sale exclusively on 16th October on Flipkart. We were at the launch event and both devices looked promising. Honor Holly has been priced at INR 6,999 whereas Honor X1 will be available at INR 19,999 on Flipkart.

Huawei clearly mentioned that they are looking to target the youth population of India with the launch of Honor Holly by launching it under 7k belt smartphone. Few eye catching features which youth might like : long battery life, bright and big IPS display and 16 GB ROM memory. 2000 mAh battery comes with Huawei’s own patented 30% power saving technology.

With introduction of Honor X1, Huawei says hi to all in the phablet market. The body made of aluminum with nano dull polish looked stylish. But yet another tablet+phone with solid specs and high price in the market. Will it succeed or will it not, only time will say. Honor X1 will be sold on Flipkart at INR 19,990.
